Hair transplant

Hair transplantation

With FUE technology

The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is the most modern and sensitive method of hair transplantation (HT)

The key: During FUE using precision technology and extremely accurate instruments the hair follicles in the form of follicular units (FUs) are targeted for removal one by one.

THE FUE hair transplant is particularly gentle. The transplant FU’s -also known as Grafts – are removed singly from the rear of the scalp as opposed to earlier methods which would take a whole strip of hair from the rear of the scalp. THE FUE hair transplant is considered to be cosmetically scar free. After the transplant only a few tiny white points remain where the hair was removed, after a short while these will no longer be visible even with the most extreme short haircuts. The modern FUE technique guarantees a long lasting and natural result.

The FUE hair transplant is performed under local anesthetic. Minimal or no pain will be experienced during the procedure. After the operation, the duration of which varies according to the number of hairs to be transplanted, the patient can go straight home.

After the operation there can be some occasional swelling in the area around the forehead and eyes. This generally fades after 3 days before disappearing completely.

In the first 7 days after an FUE the patient should not partake in sport or other strenuous activities, such as lifting any heavy objects.

Avoid wearing a helmet or a cap during the first 14 days.

No swimming, sunbathing or visits to a solarium for 4-5 weeks.
